Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Lee's life has been a colorful canvas of passion and talent.

From a young age, Lee's artistic inclinations were evident to all who knew him. His passion for art led him to receive a college art scholarship, setting the stage for what could have been a promising career in the art world. However, life often takes us on unexpected paths and Lee's journey took a turn when he decided to become a Pennsylvania state trooper.

Despite this new direction, Lee's love for art remained an integral part of his life, and he continued to express himself creatively, even while in uniform. As a state trooper, Lee used his compassion to support young children who have experienced stressful situations by gifting them plush dolls to comfot them.

Lee's art traveled far beyond the borders of Pennsylvania. His creations adorned walls in various states across the United States, such as North Carolina, Texas, and Pennsylvania and Jamaica. Wherever his art went, it left behind a trail of beauty, sparking emotions and delighting those who beheld his work.

After dedicating 25 years to serving as a state trooper, Lee decided it was time to embrace yet another passion brewing within him - writing and illustrating children's books. A dream he had carried since childhood was finally coming to life as he stepped into the world of storytelling. Settling in the warm embrace of Texas, alongside his beloved wife of 34 years, Lee ventured into this new chapter with enthusiasm and creativity.

The story beautifully conveys a powerful message of empathy, inclusion, and the importance of looking beyond appearances, touching the hearts of both children and adults alike.

In another heartwarming creation, 'Porcupine Polly Needs a Hug,' Lee introduces us to Polly, a lovable porcupine on a quest to share hugs with newfound friends. Through her journey, young readers learn valuable lessons about kindness, friendship, and the power of compassion.

Despite his artistic achievements and newfound success as an author, Lee remains grounded and true to his compassionate nature.
