A SCHOOL COUNSELOR'S PERSPECTIVE ON BULLYING - BETSY ALPERT

Betsy Alpert (Ed.S., NCC) has worked in the field of education for 21 years. She has been a Spanish teacher, worked in Instructional Technology, and now is a high school counselor at a large suburban high school in the Atlanta-area. She was received several honors including Counselor of the Year (Marietta City Schools) and Most Dedicated staff member voted on by the senior class.


Betsy has presented at many professional development conferences and currently serves on the executive board in the Cobb School Counseling Association. She is a dedicated lifelong learner and plans to start her doctorate in Counseling & Supervision in the summer. Her favorite part of being a school counselor is watching her students graduate and helping them plan their futures. She finds her job very rewarding and loves helping her students.
